Major Injuries Sustained in Motorcycle and Car Crash on Highway 24 in Orinda
ORINDA, CA (January 30, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a traffic collision Wednesday morning in Orinda.
The collision happened around 8:53 a.m. on westbound Highway 24 at St. Stephens Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Volvo and a Honda motorcycle collided at the intersection. Paramedics responded to the scene and found the rider sitting up against the center divider with serious injuries.
The injured rider was then transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Details surrounding the collision were not made clear in the reports and media releases. The incident is still under investigation by the CHP.
