THURSTON COUNTY, WA (August 10, 2022) – Monday morning, an Oregon man suffered injuries in a DUI crash on Interstate 5 at Milepost 86.
 
The incident occurred at around 11:40 a.m. on Interstate 5 at Milepost 86.
 
According to reports, the 49-year-old Corvallis Oregon rode as a passenger on a semi-trailer. Then, they went north on I-5 at milepost 86. Also, a 29-year-old Tigard, Oregon woman, parked on the right shoulder of the freeway.
 
Then, the woman merged onto I-5 but failed to yield the right of way. Afterward, the semi struck her vehicle.
 
The crash left the Tigard woman and the 55-year-old Tacoma man driving the semi-trailer with no injuries.
 
Then, responders took the Oregon male passenger to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.
 
Furthermore, the Tigard Oregon woman now faces a possible vehicular assault charge.
