Early Morning High-Speed Crash in Ontario Sends Two People to Hospital
ONTARIO, CA (January 29, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized following a high-speed crash early Tuesday morning in Ontario.
The crash happened just before 1:00 a.m. on westbound 10 Freeway at Milliken Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Kia Optima was traveling at a high rate of speed, about 100 miles per hour, when in collided with a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
Two occupants were taken by ground ambulance to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton with unspecified injuries.
The pickup truck sustained rear-end damage and was towed away from the wreckage.
Three freeway lanes were shut down during the rescue and clearing operations.
It is unknown if charges has been filed and liability has not yet been determined. Further investigation is underway.
