Lanes Closed after Semi-Truck Collision near Humphreys Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 12, 2019) – One person was trapped in a truck crash on southbound 710 Freeway, Tuesday morning.
According to CHP, the collision took place around 8:14 AM near Humphreys Avenue. Based on an initial report, the truck crashed against a pole in the roadway. In addition, it was not clear if a sedan was also involved in the accident.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They confirmed that one person was extricated from the truck. Upon assessment, it was found out that the victim suffered injuries to the leg.
A SigAlert was issued closing all lanes while rescue, clearing, and cleaning operations took place in the area.
An investigation is ongoing to determine what might have caused the collision. No additional information has been released to the public at this time.
