Heavy Fog Leads to Two-Vehicle Collision near Norwood Avenue
RIVERSIDE, CA (November 11, 2019) – One person became trapped in a pickup truck after a crash on Arlington Avenue on early Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near the intersection of Norwood Avenue at approximately 4:24 AM.
Based on a report, heavy fog caused the collision of the SUV and the pickup truck. The white SUV overturned in the incident.
The paramedics confirmed that the driver of the SUV did not suffer any injuries. However, the driver of the truck became trapped inside the vehicle. As a result, firefighters used the jaws of life to free the victim before he was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation but dense fog may have played a role. No other details were released by the authorities.
