Interstate 5 DUI Crash Results in Injuries

Everett, WA (October 29, 2021) – On Thursday, a driver suffered injuries in an Interstate 5 DUI crash.

Officers said the vehicle crash took place at milepost 192

A driver involved in another crash was waiting on the shoulder when their vehicle.

Suddenly, another vehicle rear-ended them.

The victim sustained serious injuries. Luckily, the authorities said it was non-fatal.

Moreover, the officers arrested the DUI suspect for vehicular assault.

The authorities continue to investigate this incident.

The perverse actions of a reckless driver can increase the likelihood of traffic collisions. If you are a driver, pay close attention to those around you. Always keep a considerable distance from others just in case harm is near. It is always better to practice defensive driving.

Road Accidents Can Cause Injuries

Vehicular accidents are not only troublesome for your vehicle. It can leave you or your passengers severely injured, disfigured, and permanently disabled.

Sad but true that in 2017, 485,866 accidents were reported solely in the state of Washington.

That is why it is indeed crucial that everyone drives defensively in order to avoid traffic accidents as much as possible.

Meanwhile, here are some of the things that we can do to practice defensive driving and avoid accidents:

-First, always drive at a controllable speed.

-Then, it is also important not to assume you know the other driver’s intention.

– Also, be prepared to positively react to other drivers.

-This one, we should never neglect. Yield at intersections, even if you have right of way.

– Most importantly, stay focused on the road. Removing all distractions such as mobile phone use, unstrapped toddlers, can help us focus on the road.
