One Hurt after San Diego Traffic Accident
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 28, 2019) – One person sustained serious injuries when the vehicle they were riding in collided on Saturday, January 26.
According to a California Highway Patrol incident log, a caller first reported the incident at about 7:40 a.m. on westbound Highway 94 near Kelton Road.
When CHP officers arrived at the scene, they found a 1965 Chevrolet Impala that collided into the center divider from the westbound side of the freeway, scattering debris onto the eastbound side.
San Diego Fire-Rescue Battalion Chief Jeff Mitchell said that paramedics brought one person to a hospital with injuries that were described as critical.
It was not yet known if that person was the driver.
The two left lanes of Highway 94 were shut down while crews cleaned up the wreckage.
