One Seriously Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 near Highway 198 [VISALIA, CA]

Evening 2-Vehicle Collision in Visalia Leads to Major Injuries

 
VISALIA, CA (May 18, 2019) – At least one person was seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening in Visalia.
 
The crash happened around 9:41 p.m., on southbound Highway 99. Dispatchers arrived just south of Highway 198 shortly after.
 
According to reports, a white Chevrolet Tahoe and another vehicle were involved. The Tahoe spun out and hit an embankment, resulting to major front-end damage.
 
Paramedics arrived on scene and found at least one victim with major injuries. The patient was rushed to a nearby hospital in an unknown condition.
 
The damaged SUV was towed away from the crash site due to the extent of damage.
 
The specific cause of the crash and who may be at fault remain under investigation.
