Multiple Victims in Bakersfield Car Accident
BAKERFIELD, CA (January 29, 2019) – Tuesday afternoon, several were injured in a two-car collision when a vehicle ran the stop sign on Wallace Road.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Nathan Petty, the crash occurred at 4:45 PM on the intersection of Wallace Road and Famoso Road.
As per reports, a red Jeep Wrangler was driving southbound on Wallace Road, ran the stop sign and collided with a gray Saab sedan traveling east on Famoso Road. Impact caused the Jeep to roll over onto the south shoulder, causing the Saab spin out.
The driver of the Saab complained of pain while one of the passengers sustained a broken leg. Two occupants were transported to the Kern Medical Center for further medical evaluation.
There has been no information released on the identity nor their medical condition on those who were involved.
Driver of the Jeep stated he was distracted at the time of the accident.
