One Person Injured in Car Accident on 405 Freeway [Sherman Oaks, CA]

Fiery Car Crash in Sherman Oaks

 
SHERMAN OAKS, CA (February 1, 2019) – Friday morning, one person was injured in a fiery crash on the northbound 405 Freeway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 10:10 AM on the 405 Freeway near Ventura Boulevard.
 
Upon the arrival of firefighters, they found a vehicle completely engulfed in flames. Paramedics transported one person to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. The identity nor medical status on the victim has been disclosed.
 
Due to the impact of the collision, the number one, two, three, and carpool lanes were closed for a period of time. It is unknown if any other vehicles were involved.
 
It is unknown if drugs and alcohol were a contributing factors in the crash. There has been no further information released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time.
