Vehicle Crash on Sierra (14) Highway Killed One Person

Lancaster, CA (September 9, 2020) – On Sunday, one man died in a two-vehicle crash on Sierra 14 Highway.

Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Michael Pittman said the fatal crash was reported at 9:30 p.m. at West Avenue B.

The crash resulted in a vehicle to overturn and burst into fire. Multiple people were ejected.

California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi said officers at the scene called for a helicopter to shine a light on the accident site.

Also, Pittman said flames from the overturned vehicle spread to nearby grassy areas.
