One Person Dead after Brea Truck Crash on 57 Freeway
BREA, CA (October 7, 2019) – One person died following a car crash on the northbound 57 Freeway in Brea on Friday, October 4.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near the Tonner Canyon Road exit around 4:30 a.m.
Reports stated that a work truck collided into the back of a big rig. There were no injuries reported of the driver of the semi-truck. However, the identity of the deceased is not immediately released.
The accident caused the closure of the No. 4 lane of the freeway.
There is no further information about the incident at this time. However, police are continuing the investigation.
