Semi-Truck and Vehicle Involved in Fatal Accident Near Palmdale Boulevard
PALMDALE, CA (December 27, 2019) – The authorities confirmed that one person died in a semi-truck crash on Highway 14 on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Palmdale Boulevard at approximately 2:55 AM.
Reports showed that a vehicle and a big rig were involved in the collision. In addition, the big rig was loaded with about 31,000 pounds of unknown cargo.
An attending coroner proclaimed one person dead at the scene. However, the name, age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
A Sigalert issued closing all northbound lanes while clearing operations took place in the area. However, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
