Deadly 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 58 in Keene

 
KEENE, CA (November 30, 2019) – At least one person died following a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Kern County.
 
The fatal crash happened on Highway 58 near Highway 223.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver BMW was traveling westbound on Highway 58 when it made a left onto Highway 223. A silver Chevrolet Silverado traveling eastbound hit the BMW.
 
Officers arrived and found at least one fatality as a result of the crash. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
The accident is still under investigation. Traffic in the area was not impacted.
