Afternoon 2-Car Crash on 215 Freeway in Riverside Ends in Fatality
RIVERSIDE, CA (November 30, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a two-car crash Saturday afternoon in Riverside.
The crash happened around 4:35 p.m. on southbound 215 Freeway, just north of Alessandro Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Equinox SUV and Chevrolet sedan collided on the southbound freeway for unknown reasons. The impact caused the SUV to crash into a pole.
Paramedics arrived and found at least one fatality as a result of the crash. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
