Evening 2-Car Crash on Auburn Boulevard in North Highlands Ends in Fatality
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (January 14, 2020) – At least one person was killed following a two-car crash Tuesday evening in North Highlands.
The crash happened around 8:33 p.m. at the intersection of Auburn Boulevard and Madison Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a blue Infiniti and an SUV collided for unknown reasons. Emergency crews arrived and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash.
The coroner’s office did not release the identity of the victim pending family notification.
Authorities closed both northbound lanes of Auburn Boulevard while they investigated the crash.
