Late Evening 2-Car Crash on Alpine Road in Stockton Ends in Fatality

STOCKTON, CA (August 10, 2019) – One person was killed following a two-car crash late Saturday evening at the intersection of Alpine Road and East Main Street.

The crash happened around 11:11 p.m. involving a white Chevrolet sedan and a white Toyota sedan.
&nbsp
Officers arrived and located the vehicles partially blocking the roadway. One of the cars was smoking from the crash and one occupant was trapped inside.
&nbsp
Emergency crews provided medical aid to the victims. Despite life-saving measures, one fatality was reported as a result of the accident.
&nbsp
Towing services removed both cars from the crash site.
&nbsp
Further details, including the identity of the deceased were not immediately available. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
