One Killed in Suspected DUI Crash at Perris Boulevard and Avocado Avenue [PERRIS, CA]

Two Cars Involved in Fatal DUI Crash on Perris Boulevard

 
PERRIS, CA (October 26, 2019) – One person died following a suspected DUI crash early Saturday morning in Perris.
 
The crash happened around 2:08 a.m. at the intersection of Perris Boulevard and Avocado Avenue.
 
Authorities said a Toyota Camry was heading southbound on Perris Boulevard. For unknown reasons, it crossed over into oncoming traffic and collided with a northbound Range Rover.
 
As a result, the driver of the Camry died at the scene. The name of the deceased has not yet been released pending family notification.
 
The driver of the Range Rover sustained minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics took the passengers in both vehicles to a hospital.
 
Alcohol appeared to be a factor in the crash, but authorities did not specify which of the two drivers was suspected of being under the influence at the time of the crash.
 
Authorities are still investigating the fatal incident.
