One Killed in Semi Truck Crash on 10 Freeway at Washington Street [PALM DESERT, CA]

Early Morning Collision with Semi Truck in Palm Desert Ends in Fatality

 
PALM DESERT, CA (May 25, 2019) – One person was killed following a traffic collision involving a semi truck early Saturday morning in Palm Desert.
 
The collision happened just after 1:00 a.m. along the westbound lanes of 10 Freeway at Washington Street.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located the semi truck and a sedan on the right shoulder. A body was also found lying in lanes.
 
Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
All freeway lanes were shut down for the investigation. Traffic was being diverted off at Jefferson Street.
