One Killed in Semi Truck Crash at Road 140 and Highway 137 [TULARE, CA]

Semi Truck and Sedan Collide on Road 140 in Tulare, Fatality Reported

 
TULARE, CA (November 26, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a traffic collision between a semi truck and a sedan late Tuesday evening in Tulare, according to the CHP.
 
The crash happened around 11:25 p.m. on Road 140, about a mile north of Highway 137.
 
CHP officials said the semi and a white Toyota Camry collided for unknown reasons. Firefighters responded to the scene and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash.
 
The name, age and town of residence of the victim were not immediately available.
 
Authorities closed Road 140 at Highway 137 while they worked on the scene.
