One Killed in Rollover Crash on Hoag Road [CORNING, CA]

Vehicle Crashes into Pole and Overturns on Hoag Road in Corning, Fatality Reported

 
CORNING, CA (November 9, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a rollover crash on Hoag Road Saturday night in Tehama County, CHP officials said.
 
The fatal crash happened just after 6:00 p.m. in the 24000 block of Hoag Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle had crashed and a power pole and overturned. Arriving units found at least one occupant with severe injuries from the crash.
 
An air ambulance was requested to transport the patient to a hospital. Sadly, the victim did not survive and was declared dead.
 
The coroner’s office did not release the identity of the deceased pending family notification.
 
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
