Driver Dies after Car Overturns on Highway 38 in Big Bear
BIG BEAR, CA (June 22, 2019) – One person was killed following a rollover crash Saturday night in the San Bernardino Mountains.
The crash happened around 6:36 p.m. on Highway 38 at US Forest Service Road 2N12Y. In addition, it occurred near mile marker 37 and Lake Williams Drive.
A small sedan overturned and landed on its roof, killing the driver who was the sole occupant in the car. The victim’s identity was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
CHP officers issued a SigAlert in the area, closing Highway 38 lanes at Lake Williams Drive. As a result, police investigated the cause of the crash.
