SUV and Pickup Truck Involved in Fatal Early Morning Crash in Hollister
HOLLISTER, CA (July 20, 2019) – One person was killed Saturday morning following a hit-and-run crash early at Highway 25 and Highway 156.
The crash happened around 2:20 a.m., on Highway 25. Dispatchers arrived just North of Highway 156.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Honda CRV and a white Ford F-250 collided for unknown reasons. Paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash.
Two people in one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot.
Both vehicles were towed away for evidence.
The northbound lanes of Highway 25 at Highway 156 were closed for the on-scene investigation.
No identifying information has been released at this time. Further investigation is underway.
