One Killed in High-Speed Crash on Highway 113 at Casey Road [DIXON, CA]

Multiple Vehicles Involved in Deadly Crash on Highway 113 in Dixon

 
DIXON, CA (May 30, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a high-speed crash Thursday night in rural Dixon.
 
The accident happened just after 6:00 p.m., on southbound Highway 113. First responders arrived near Casey Road shortly after.
 
According to reports, multiple vehicles, including a 2017 Dodge pickup truck a silver sedan and a maroon sedan were involved. Furthermore, two of the vehicles collided head-on at approximately 60 mph.
 
Air and ground ambulance were dispatched to the scene to transport the victims to nearby hospitals due to the extent of their injuries. At least one victim was declared dead as a result of the impact.
 
Meanwhile, the highway was closed in both directions as a landing zone was created for the air ambulance.
 
No identifying information has been released at this time. The incident still currently remains under investigation.
