BONSALL, CA (January 18, 2020) – One person was killed following a head-on crash Saturday evening in San Diego County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
 
The crash happened around 9:21 p.m. on South Mission Road near Highway 76.
 
According the CHP, a white sedan and a gray SUV collided head-on for unknown reasons. As a result, one occupant suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Authorities withheld the identity of the victim pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported another patient to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
