Person Dies after Head-On Collision on Highway 20 near Dollar General

 
NICE, CA (October 29, 2019) – One person was killed in a head-on collision on Highway 20, Tuesday afternoon.
 
As per reports, the incident happened at about 3:15 PM. Due to unknown reasons, a white Ford cargo van and a westbound semi-truck collided head-on across from the Dollar General.
 
Northshore Fire units arrived and confirmed that one person died at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, another person sustained minor injuries in the collision.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the fatal collision. Those who wish to cooperate should reach out as soon as possible. Officers will release additional information to the public once it becomes available.
