Early Morning Fiery Crash Involving 3 Vehicles on San Jacinto Avenue Kills 1
NUEVO, CA (September 15, 2019) – One person died following a fiery three-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Nuevo.
The crash happened around 1:10 a.m. in the 29000 block of San Jacinto Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white truck, blue Ford pickup and a gray SUV were involved. In addition, police stated two of them were parked and one had crashed into a pole.
Officers arrived and found the SUV in the middle of the street, fully engulfed in fire. One occupant was believed to be inside.
A coroner arrived to the scene and confirmed one fatality as a result of the crash. However, the identity of the victim is not immediately available.
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
