Racing Leads to Fatal Fiery Crash on 15 Freeway in Ontario
ONTARIO, CA (December 7, 2019) – One person died following a fiery rollover crash late Saturday evening in Ontario, according to authorities.
The accident happened around 11:08 p.m. on southbound 15 Freeway at 10 Freeway.
CHP officials said a black Honda Accord was racing with a white Kia sedan, when it veered off the freeway. The Honda then crashed into a tree, overturned and caught fire.
Firefighters responded to the scene and confirmed one fatality as a result of the tragic crash. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending next of kin notification.
It is unknown if any other injuries were sustained. The crash remains under investigation.
