One Killed in Crash on Highway 74 at Old State Highway [HEMET, CA]

Fatal Afternoon Crash on Highway 74 in Hemet

 
HEMET, CA (August 19, 2019) – At least one person was killed in a traffic accident Monday afternoon on Highway 74 in Hemet.
 
The crash happened around 12:53 p.m. just east of Old State Highway. According to the California Highway Patrol, a brown vehicle veered off the highway and into a ditch for unknown reasons.
 
Two people ejected from the vehicle suffered injuries. In addition, another personsustained a pelvic injury.
 
Emergency crews transported all three patients to a hospital, at least one of them did not survive.
 
Further details, including the identity of the victim, were not immediately available. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
