One Killed in Crash on Highway 62 near Parker Dam Road [BLUEWATER, CA]

Fatal Collision on Highway 62 in Bluewater

 
BLUEWATER, CA (May 19, 2019) – At least one person was killed Sunday following a traffic crash on Highway 62, near Parker Dam Road.
 
The crash happened on the eastbound lanes of the highway around 11:50 a.m. Dispatchers arrived to the area near Parker Dam Road shortly after.
 
According to the CHP, the westbound vehicle veered across lanes and eventually ended up on the right shoulder of the eastbound lanes. The vehicle also traveled about 100 feet off the roadway before coming to a stop in an open desert area.
 
Responding firefighters found the male driver passed out inside the vehicle upon arrival. Paramedics were immediately called to provide life-saving aid.
 
At least one fatality was confirmed as a result of the accident.
 
Furthermore, the identity of the victim has not been made available.
