Fatal Afternoon Crash on Highway 20 in Clearlake Oaks

 
CLEARLAKE OAKS, CA (June 5, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a traffic accident Wednesday afternoon in Clearlake Oaks.
 
The crash happened around 3:41 p.m. on eastbound Highway 20, just West of New Long Valley Road.
 
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but the involved vehicle reportedly sustained a front-end damage on its wheels.
 
Arriving officers found at least one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
 
The CHP is still piecing together exactly what led up to the crash.
