One Dies after Vehicle Crashes into Tree on Foresthill Road in Placer County
PLACER COUNTY, CA (October 15, 2019) – One person was killed following a car accident Tuesday evening in Placer County.
The crash happened around 7:16 p.m. near the intersection of Foresthill and Deadwood roads.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Toyota Matrix had crashed into a tree for unknown reasons. The Sheriff’s office and firefighters responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, they located the Toyota with major front-end damage. One passenger suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP says the driver and a second passenger sustained unspecified injuries.
Authorities are still investigating the crash to determine the ultimate cause and factors involved.
