Big Rig and Sedan Collide Head-On on Highway 26 in Linden, Fatality Reported
LINDEN, CA (January 24, 2020) – At least one person was killed following a collision with a big rig Friday afternoon in San Joaquin County.
The collision happened around 2:25 p.m. on Highway 26 at Jack Tone Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the big rig and a sedan collided head-on for unknown reasons. Officers arrived at the scene and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash.
The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending family notification.
The circumstances that lead to the crash is still under investigation.
