Fatal Afternoon 2-Car Crash on Highway 49 in El Dorado
EL DORADO, CA (June 11, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 49 Tuesday afternoon in El Dorado.
The crash happened around 4:29 p.m., on Highway 49. Dispatchers arrived near Sand Ridge Road shortly after.
The vehicles involved were not identified, and details of how the crash occurred are currently unclear. However, a coroner who was called to the scene confirmed at least one fatality.
Both vehicles were towed away from the crash site due to the extent of their damage.
