One Killed in Head-On Crash on 75th Avenue [Laveen Village, AZ]

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Deputy Involved in Fatal Accident Near Baseline Road

 
LAVEEN VILLAGE, AZ (October 21, 2019) – One person died in a head-on crash on 75th Avenue on Monday afternoon. However, the victim’s identity is not yet known as of this time.
 
According to the police, the crash happened near the intersection of Baseline Road.
 
Based on a report, a Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputy became involved in a crash. In addition, the deputy’s vehicle collided head-on into another car.
 
Authorities declared one person inside the second vehicle dead on the scene. Paramedics transported two other occupants to a hospital, while the deputy suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Officials ordered a clean-up at the scene and began their investigation.
 
It is not yet known why the police were chasing after the woman. However, police did not release any other information to the public.
