Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision Reported near Topanga Canyon Boulevard
WOODLAND HILLS, CA (September 11, 2018) – One person was killed Tuesday evening in a car crash on Ventura Boulevard. The deceased victim’s identity and place of residence were not immediately released to the public, pending notification of next of kin.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 10:30 PM, near Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
Officials with the Los Angeles Police Department were first to respond to the scene of the accident. In their report, two unidentified vehicles were involved in the wreck, but events leading up to the crash were unclear.
One passenger was found unresponsive, and the victim was declared dead at the scene by emergency responders. Three other people, including two female passengers and a driver, were taken to local hospitals with undisclosed injuries. There is no update on the current medical condition of either person.
