One Killed in Car Accident on Rosenkranz Road and Tieton Road [Tieton, WA]

1 Dead, Several Hurt in Tieton Car Accident on Rosenkranz Road

 
TIETON, WA (June 25, 2019) – A person died while several people suffered injuries in a car accident on Rosenkranz Road on June 20.
 
According to the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office, an eastbound Dodge Ram one-ton work truck on Rosenkranz Road hit a northbound 12-passenger Ford van traveling on North Tieton Road around 5:00 p.m.
 
As a result of the crash, the van overturned and landed on its side. Several people inside the van suffered injuries and went to area hospitals. Moreover, one of the passengers succumbed to death at the hospital.
 
According to a preliminary investigation, the truck driver didn’t stop at a stop sign and the van had the right of way.
 
The Highland Fire Department and Washington State Patrol responded. Also, multiple ambulances came to the scene. The identity of the people involved and other information remains unavailable.
 
The Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit conducts an investigation.
