Person Transported to Hi-Desert Medical Center After Crash on Acoma Trail
Yucca Valley, CA (February 13, 2021) – On Friday, one was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Acoma Trail.
The incident happened at around 5:20 p.m. at the intersection with Twentynine Palms Highway.
Apparently, a gray Chevrolet Tahoe towing a trailer and a blue Dodge Durango were involved in the incident. Witnesses said the driver of one of the vehicles turned in front of the other which resulted in a crash.
Furthermore, an unidentified good Samaritan stopped to direct traffic at the intersection and placed orange cones to block traffic. The man continued to help direct traffic even after authorities arrived on the scene.
Right away, responders took one person by ambulance to the Hi-Desert Medical Center for leg pain. Luckily, no one was seriously injured in the accident.
Moreover, the officers praised the man who helped them with traffic. Similarly, they did not arrest anyone as alcohol or drugs were not a suspected factor in the accident
Meanwhile, officers routed traffic up Mohawk Trail and Acoma Trail into neighborhoods until they cleared the accident scene about 40 minutes later.
