One Injured in Head-On Crash on Oro Quincy Highway near Highway 162 [OROVILLE, CA]

Pickup Truck and SUV Collide Head-On on Oro Quincy Highway in Oroville, Injuries Reported

 
OROVILLE, CA (July 5, 2019) – One person was injured Friday evening following a head-on crash on Oro Quincy Highway in Oroville.
 
The crash happened around 7:44 p.m. on Oro Quincy Highway near Highway 162.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located a gray Chevrolet pickup truck and a white Honda Pilot. One occupant was hurt from the crash and one was trapped inside a vehicle.
 
Paramedics took one of the patients to a hospital to receive proper treatment.
 
The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed while crews worked on the scene.
 
Investigators are still working on the incident and urging witnesses to come forward with information.
