DUI Driver Involved in Collision near Main Street

RIVERSIDE, CA (December 24, 2018) – One person was injured in a DUI crash on Highway 60, Monday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:00 AM, near the intersection of Main Street. Based on their report, there were two vehicles involved in the incident. A DUI motorist in a dark-colored Chevrolet SUV was seen swerving and hitting an unknown vehicle before it went down an embankment.

The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. One person was seen outside the SUV, while another one looked injured lying down the roadway. The victim’s condition was not yet known.

Cleaning and clearing operations were performed in the area. There is an ongoing investigation to determine contributing factors. No additional information has been released to the public.
