One Person Injured, Several Cars Crashed in Chase on Howe Avenue

 
Sacramento, CA (April 16, 2021) – On Thursday, one was injured while several cars were hit in a chase on Howe Avenue.
 
The incident started minutes after 5 p.m. when officers pulled over a car in the 1400 block area.
 
Officers recognized a suspect with an outstanding no-bail felony warrant riding in the backseat of the vehicle.
 
Immediately, the suspect pushed the driver out of the car and jumped into the driver’s seat, and drove away.
 
Furthermore, officers chased the suspect through the neighborhood where the suspect struck several cars on the road.
 
One person inside one of those cars suffered injuries due to the chase.
 
Rescuers took the injured person to a nearby hospital for treatment and is expected to be okay.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities said the chase ended when the suspect slammed into a fence near Watt Avenue. Officers took the suspect into custody.
