One Injured in Hesperia Pedestrian Crash on Tamarisk Avenue
HESPERIA, CA (August 19, 2019) — One person suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Tamarisk Avenue on Saturday, August 17.
Around 9:05 p.m., deputies rushed to the area of Tamarisk Avenue and Yucca Street. After that, they found the pedestrian down in the roadway.
A white 2007 Toyota 4Runner stopped in the roadway. As a result, the driver stayed at the scene. Officials also found a small metal grocery cart, along with other items near the collision.
Firefighters requested a helicopter to airlift the pedestrian to an out of area trauma center. However, the extent of the injuries sustained has not been released at this time.
The surrounding area closed off for a brief time while crews worked to clear the wreckage. However, there is no additional information available.
