Three Vehicles Involved in Collision near Road 34 1/2
MADERA, CA (December 12, 2019) – One person suffered injuries in a multi-car crash on Avenue 12 on Thursday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Road 34 1/2 at approximately 9:30 AM.
Reports showed that three vehicles, including the car of a Madera County sheriff’s deputy, were involved in the collision. The 40-year-old deputy did not see the two cars ahead of him. He attempted to stop but ended up crashing into the back of a Dodge Caravan, which then hit a Nissan Sentra.
The paramedics took a man to Madera Community Hospital for complaint of pain to his leg. The deputy and the other driver were not hurt.
Alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the crash, however, an investigation is on-going.
