4 Vehicles Involved in Late Afternoon Collision on Highway 120 in Manteca, Complaint of Pain Reported
MANTECA, CA (May 22, 2019) – One person was hurt following a multi-vehicle collision late Wednesday afternoon in Manteca, police said.
The collision happened around 5:5 p.m. on Highway 120 at East Yosemite Avenue. CHP officials responded to the scene and located at least four vehicles.
An initial investigation revealed that a pickup truck hauling a trailer was traveling eastbound when for unknown reasons, it ran into another pickup truck. It then slammed into a van and a sedan.
As a result, one occupant complained of pain to the stomach. Paramedics took the patient to a hospital for proper treatment.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but towing services were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
