Injuries Reported in 3-Vehicle Crash near Cesar Chavez Street in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 28, 2019) – One person was hurt following a three-vehicle crash on 280 Freeway Tuesday morning, in San Francisco.
The crash happened around 7:14 a.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway. Dispatchers arrived near the Cesar Chavez Street off-ramp, just North of Highway 101 shortly after.
Arriving crews located a blue Mini Cooper and a white Ford Ranger upon arrival. The third vehicle reportedly fled the scene.
One occupant was complaining of neck pain due to the impact of the collision. An ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene as a result.
Furthermore, the Ford pickup sustained left side damage, while the Mini Copper had moderate damage. Both vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are currently looking further into the accident.
