1 Injured after Vehicle Overturns in Collision near Nortonville Road
PITTSBURG, CA (October 17, 2018) – One person was hospitalized after a rollover crash on Kirker Pass Road, early Tuesday evening. Their identity has not yet been shared with the public.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 5:07 PM, near Nortonville Road. The authorities found a Mazda Miata on its side, at least fifteen feet from the roadway. The vehicle reportedly crashed into a pole before rolling over and coming to a rest in the area.
The medics arrived at the scene for rescue and transported one person to the Kaiser Permanente Antioch Medical Center after they complained of head pain. No update regarding the victim’s condition was immediately released. The pole was down along with multiple of its wires, and crews arrived on site to perform clearing operation in the area.
No additional information has been released to the public at this time, as the investigation continues.
