AVOCADO HEIGHTS, CA (May 6, 2019) – A person sustained injuries and went to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision on 60 Freeway.
 
The incident occurred on May 3, after 3:30 a.m. on 60 Freeway near Crossroads Parkway. The collision resulted in the closure of all eastbound lanes and two westbound lanes.
 
Meanwhile, medics transported one patient to a hospital in unknown condition. As of now, it’s unknown whether the victim is from the big rig or one of the three other vehicles involved.
 
A heavy-duty tow truck with a crane came to the scene. The crew worked to clear the highway. Meanwhile, authorities administered an alternate route off the freeway.
 
The cause of the collision remains unknown.
 
Furthermore, all westbound lanes and one eastbound lane have since reopened. The remaining closed lanes will reopen by 1:00 p.m.
