Six Vehicles Involved in Minor Crash on Highway 22
GARDEN GROVE, CA (June 17, 2019) – Police transported one person to the hospital after a multi-car crash on westbound Highway 22, Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place near Harbor Boulevard at approximately 10:06 AM. Based on an initial report, the incident involved six vehicles. In addition, a box truck collided with five other vehicles.
The paramedics arrived for needed medical attention. As a result, the authorities sent one person to UCI Medical Center for treatment. However, they recorded minor injuries sustained by the victim.
Towing services were requested for a clearing operation in the area.
It was not yet clear in what circumstance the pile-up occurred. An investigation by the authorities is on-going.
