Four Vehicles Involved in Morning Crash on 57 Freeway in Brea, Injuries Reported
BREA, CA (June 8, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Brea.
The crash happened around 7:21 a.m., on southbound 57 Freeway. Dispatchers arrived near Lambert Road shortly after.
At least four vehicles were involved. Officers located a red Kia Soul and a silver Chrysler sedan on the slow lane upon arrival. However, the events leading up are currently unclear.
According to an initial report, a white Dodge Ram also flew past on the right shoulder at 70 mph. A Jeep Wrangler was also found on the right shoulder.
Injuries were sustained in the crash and an ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene. One patient was taken to UCI Medical Center with moderate injuries.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but towing services were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
