Street Racing Leads to Crash Involving Dozens of Drivers in City Industry

 
CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA (May 17, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash early Friday morning in City of Industry.
 
The crash was reported around 12:27 in the area of Rowland Street and Ajax Avenue, near the 60 Freeway.
 
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of about 60 drivers in the street and blocking off traffic. When they arrived, they found a multi-car wreck.
 
At least one occupant was injured and taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
One driver was reportedly arrested at the scene.
 
The crash may have been caused by possible street racing.
